About Meade Crane Hire Services:

The Meade family have many years experience in the crane hire business, having started in 1953 as Irish Tank & Pipeline, which was founded by Mr. Paddy Meade.

This company evolved into Meade Plant (I) Ltd. which was formed in 1975.One of the most prestigious projects carried out by the company was the erection of the Papal Cross in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, in 1979, with what at that time, was the largest mobile crane in Ireland. Over the years the firm built up a reputation for excellence of service and it wasn't long before they had an increasing number of loyal clients. 

In 1995, after four years in the business, Mr. Fergus Meade left for Australia. While there he worked for the leading Australian company, Lindores Cranes & Rigging. He returned to Ireland in 1996 having gained very valuable experience which he could now use in the new company which he set up, Meade Crane Services Ltd. This company has now grown to be one of the biggest suppliers of mobile cranes in Ireland. Our fleet is one of the most modern in the country and can be seen on some of Ireland's biggest projects.
